Spells
Levicorpus
Levicorpus hoists the target into the air by the ankle. It is written in the Half-Blood Prince’s book as a nonverbal spell. Harry tries it in the dormitory and leaves Ron hanging. James Potter had used the same jinx on Snape in the memory Harry sees in the Pensieve.
In the books
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceHarry finds the spell in the Prince’s textbook and casts it during his sixth year. The page does not pin the chapter of that first trial.
