Sorting Hat
The Sorting Hat belonged to Godric Gryffindor and sorts each new student into a Hogwarts house. It considers the wearer’s choices as well as their traits, which is why it listens when Harry asks not to be placed in Slytherin. In the Chamber it gives Harry the Sword of Gryffindor.
