The Snitch Dumbledore leaves Harry
The first Snitch Harry ever caught is returned to him in Dumbledore’s will. It opens only in his mouth, at the close, and the Resurrection Stone is inside.

Harry understands “the close” as his own death. He presses the Snitch to his mouth. It opens, and the Resurrection Stone that had been in the Gaunt ring falls into his hand so he can walk into the Forest with the dead beside him.
