Apparition

Apparition moves a witch or wizard from one place to another in a crack of displaced air. It takes a license, usually sat at seventeen, and a failure can leave part of the body behind, which the books call splinching. Hogwarts is protected against Apparition onto the grounds. Side-Along Apparition lets a licensed adult take another person along.
