Hedwig

Hedwig is the snowy owl who carries Harry Potter’s post from his first term at Hogwarts until the flight from Privet Drive in the last book. She is bought in Diagon Alley, lives in the owlery and at the Dursleys, and is one of the few steady companions of the years under the stairs and after.
